University of Colorado Buffaloes - Golf
Colorado Buffaloes Golf Camp

Camp Information

Elite Camp
Session 1: June 5-7, 2009 (Friday-Sunday)
Session 2: July 31 - August 2, 2009 (Friday-Sunday)

The Tournament and College Skills Golf Camp is focused on the tournament player for boys and girls ages 12-18.  Enrollment is extremely limited to only 12 participants per session.  We guarantee an instructor-camper ratio of at least 6:1.  The 3-day camp will be virtually identical to the college golf practices of the University of Colorado Men’s Golf Team.  Each camper will be put in a competitive situation with fellow campers similar to the CU Golf Team.  Skills taught will be the practice habits of championship golfers, fitness, the mental game, college preparation, time management, course management, academics, and team camaraderie.

The camp is geared towards the golfer who regularly plays in tournaments and is looking to improve their competitive game and understand what it takes to be a successful college golfer.  Anyone with a 10 handicap or better will feel comfortable with the curriculum of the camp.  New this year, our double-occupancy accommodations will be at the 4-Star Westin Hotel Westminster, just outside of Boulder.  All our golf will be at Vista Ridge Golf Club, the home of the University of Colorado golf teams.  Vista Ridge is one of the best golf facilities in the Denver/Boulder metropolitan area.  The overnight option is strongly encouraged due to the concentrated schedule of the camp.  A $150 discount will be given to anyone wishing to enroll in both sessions.  The deadline for each session is 10 days prior to the start of each camp.

If you plan on flying to the camp, please have your flight into Denver International Airport arrive as close as possible to 1:00 p.m. on the first day of camp.   Departures should be scheduled for after 7:30 p.m. on the final day of camp.

Each camper will be partially covered under a group accident insurance policy. A medical waiver and proof of health insurance form will be sent along with the confirmation letter after receipt of application.
