The Buffalo Camp is specifically designed for the golfer who wishes to improve. The curriculum is designed to ready the player to compete at the varsity level of high school golf. It is open to all skill levels of young girls and boys ages 11-18, but the curriculum is designed toward those competing or wishing to compete for a varsity team. Specifically, we teach the practice habits of championship golfers, fitness, the mental game, college preparation, time management, course management, academics and team camaraderie.
To guarantee each camper gets the attention they deserve, Assistant Coach Pat Grady and I personally supervise and develop the curriculum for every section of the camp. We expect that this will be the beginning of a long-lasting relationship with your son or daughter and our staff and university.
The bulk of our practices and golf instruction will be held at Colorado National Golf Club, the home of the CU golf teams. The five days are packed with instruction and 72 holes of golf. Similar to last year we plan on playing four different courses in the Boulder area. All resident campers will be housed at the newly remodeled dormitories on the beautiful CU Boulder Campus. All of our instructors over the 13 years have either been current D1 college coaches or former players that competed at the D1 level. Dozens of former campers have gone on to compete collegiately around the country.
